9/24 mim_cTP workshop: National Microbiome Data Collaborative
Our next mim_c Trainee Program meeting is a special edition National Microbiome Data Collaborative (NMDC) workshop hosted by NMDC ambassador Rebecca Maher (Postdoctoral Fellow, Friday Harbor Labs). The NMDC is a network of fantastic microbiome scientists committed to improving FAIR microbiome data sharing. FAIR data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. Dr. Maher’s workshop will focus on highlighting microbiome data stewardship and data reuse with the NMDC Data Portal, the NMDC EDGE for running standardized bioinformatics workflows, and the NMDC Submission Portal.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, September 24th, at 12:00pm in MHSC K350 on the UW main campus. Please contact Kyle Asfahl for more information and to RSVP.
